Handwoven hemp, hand-drawn batik, by ethnic minority, from Vietnam
This little backpack is handmade from hemp as well as from a vintage batik fabric done by the H´Mông ethnic minority. It has one compartments and two patch pockets for you to keep money, cards or other items. On its top, the backpack has a little handle to hang it up, if needed. It can well fit children and adults.
The H´Mông are one of the largest ethnic minority groups residing in the northern mountainous areas of Vietnam, well known for their hemp-weaving and hand-drawn batik-making skills.
The slight imperfections and the hand-drawn batik pattern slightly varying in motifs and motif sizes make every backpack unique.
